Wedding in a private villa is more private and flexible than in a hotel or resort, you can control and coordinate the wedding arrangement as in your own place; and it would be more flexible for the wedding assistant and vendors team to manage and develop their best service and creativity.

Bali has many villa options around the island, whether you choose beach front, hill top, rice field or mountainous location. Please note that some hotels or resorts also have villas within their resort, we can't categorize them as private villa. Private villa is like a home of the owner that can be rented for holidays, honeymoon or wedding event.

There are some fees and terms that you need to consider:

  1. Venue rental fee
  2. Refundable security deposit (this fund is to guarantee their properties and will be refunded to you after the event if there's no damage or loss of the villa's properties)
  3. Minimum stay (depends on the their low, high and peak season period)
  4. Meals in villa is different not like in a hotel. Some villas will charge based on grocery shopping and cook by their in-house cook or they have a la carte menu which could be ordered a day prior
  5. Reception and catering if any (usually in-house cook can handle small and simple reception up to 8 persons or depends on the villa’s capacity and staff). More than 20 persons is suggested to use outside catering service or subject to the villa's policy
  6. Banjar fee & entertainment permit (local government) — Most of the private villas are located within the public residential areas or holy temple, the local community (Banjar) usually manage events within their authority areas.
  7. Curfew. Each villas have different policy for entertainment, some of them don’t allow amplified music (band or DJ) and all night long party but some of them may allow live music and DJ with certain time limit and restriction.
  8. All private villas in Bali will require a reputable wedding or event planner to organize and coordinate wedding in private villa.

Villas also have different high and peak season period than hotels’ and depends on their market and function schedule. Each villa has their own seasonal period policy. So, you should need to check the high and peak season period to meet your own schedule and budget.
